Copper alloy brooch, Colchester derivative hinged type. Missing pin; damaged and bent mid bow. Iron hinge bar. Moulded wing ends - grooves and a broad concave moulding. Flat backed bow tapering to a flattened end. The bow has flat vertical sides and a raised front with a strong centre rib flanked by grooves and slighter ribs. Width 34mm, length 46mm. Similarities with an example from Badingham, Suffolk, and Hacheston (pubn no. 123)

Copper alloy brooch, Colchester derivative hinged type. Missing pin; damaged catchplate and lower bow. The axis bar is iron and there are slight traces of a probable white metal coating on the front of the bow and wings. The wings are moulded: a broad concave moulding is flanked by ribs with intervening grooves. The bow is slightly convex backed and has a rounded front with centre rib flanked by single grooves; it tapers to a damaged point. At the bow/wings junction there are angled ribs. Copper alloy brooch fragment, Colchester derivative hinged type. Upper half only, missing pin; very corroded areas. The hinge bar is iron. The wings have mouldings at the ends - a broad concave moulding flanked by single grooves and a final rib and groove at the terminal. The top of the bow is square in section but with a groove along the centre front. The bow is only 4.5mm maximum width and tapers sharply. Width 26mm, surviving length 15mm.

Copper alloy brooch fragment, Colchester derivative type with double pierced lug spring attachment. Upper part, missing spring, pin, part of double lug, one wing and most of the other; very corroded. The bow has a flat back and tapers (now exagerated by corrosion). At the centre are traces of a rib with horizontal hatching; flanking this are single broad concave mouldings. Surviving width 14mm, surviving length 29mm.
