Copper alloy brooch fragment, Rosette type. Upper half only, missing pin; some areas very corroded. The 8-turn spring is held in a semi-cylindrical case with enclosed ends, now very abraded. The upper bow is flat backed and has a centre angle and is strongly arched in profile. It joins an incomplete circular plate with concave back and incised concentric lines on the front. The top of the plate is straight and joins the underneath of the spring case. Surviving length 20mm, width 15mm. Similar to an unpublished eg from Hitcham, Suffolk (HTC 002 47).

Copper alloy brooch fragment, probably Colchester derivative type with double pierced lug. Lower bow and catchplate only. D-section bow, slightly tapering to a blunt point, no decoration. The catchplate has two holes, small circular and larger irregular, and a pin groove. Surviving length 25mm.

Copper alloy brooch fragment, Colchester derivative/Polden Hill variant type. Upper bow and one wing only. The spring was held by a rear hook (damaged) and by 5mm wide flaps at the terminals which enclosed the axis bar. The surviving wing terminal has a broad concave moulding flanked by single grooves. The bow is D-section with a rounded top and reeded front. Surviving width 22mm, surviving length 20mm. Broadly related to Scole (Mackreth in Rogerson 1977, EAA 5, 130)no.1 and more closely paralleled by egs from Barham, Coddenham, Pettistree, Wenhaston in east Suffolk

Incomplete copper alloy Colchester type brooch. Relatively flat bow, withe the wings at not quite a right angle to the bow. There are three longitudinal grooves at the end of each wing. The forward facing hook secures the external chord, most of which is intact. Four coils of the spring and the external chord are intact on one side of the bow. On the other side, the spring and chord are missing. The upper part of the pin is intact. Remains of narrow catchplate with at least three perforations.
