Incomplete bow brooch probably of dolphin or Polden Hill type dating to the 1st century AD. The bow is plain along the survivng portion with no decoration or moulding. The bow is reduced to a thin strip at the head, which presumably would have been the spring catch. The wings survive on both ends, but are incomplete. The more complete wing has the beginnings of a collar defined by an incised line. The spring only survives on one side.

Fragment from a gilt reversible annular open frame brooch of Late Medieval date, probably 15th or 16th century. The fragment is decorated on both faces. One face contained a legend with the letters G R surviving. The letters are contained within an incised border and separated by hatching. It is possible the legend may have read ‘AVEMARIAGRACIA’. The decoration on the other face is zoned, with one portion displaying a chevron design inside an incised border. The fragment does not have evidence for the pin bar or stops.
