Fragment of an annular brooch. The brooch is circular in cross-section and has bead-and-reel decoration all the way round. Brooches such as this type have a mainly Anglian distribution and are common in Lincolnshire. This type of brooch belongs to Leeds' Type F, and were in use throughout the early Anglo-Saxon period, surviving the change in dress that occured towards the end of the 6th century, continuing into the 7th century AD. A copper alloy miniature flat axehead, measuring 18mm in length, the width of the blade end is 11mm and at the haft end 6mm in width. One face of this axehead has a corroded iron deposit at the attachment end, this may be where it was attached to a miniature iron shaft. The other face is smooth and both are undecorated. This axehead is most likely to be Roman in date.

A complete copper alloy brooch. This brooch is droplet shaped, its frame measures 28mm in length and 22mm in width externally and 18mm in length and 15mm in width internally. The back face of the frame is undecorated and flat. The front face is decorated with a longditudinal ridge and incised longditudinal line with smaller transverse incised lines projecting from it. A folded copper alloy strap end, roughly rectangular in shape measuring 27mm in length and 14mm in width. The terminal of this strap end is rounded and decorated with an incised star on its front face. There is a central rivet through the terminal too. Palstave dating to the Later Middle Bronze Age, probably dating between 1500 - 1000BC (Needham et al 1997). This palstave type is familiarly known as the 'Transitional Palstave', (Smith 1959; Schmidt & Burgess 1981) and is best paralleled in welsh material with the Cammaes hoard and corresponding metalworking tradition.
