The wings are semi-cylindrical with wing caps. The axis bar, srping and pin are missing. The upper edge of the wings, in the centre there is the remains of a small hook. The wings are decorated with two oblique grooves on each wing. The bow head is hump-like, and undecorated. It leads to the bow which is semi-circular in section. The bow tapers, but is incomplete, but does not appear to be broken recently. The brooch has traces of a mid grey patina.

The wings are semi-cylindrical with wing caps which support the axis bar. Around the axis bar the spring is coiled. The pin is missing. The upper edge of the wings, in the centre there is a small hook. The bow head is slightly hump-like, and undecorated. It leads to the bow which is semi-circular in section. The bow tapers, but is incomplete, but does not appear to be broken recently. The brooch has traces of a mid green patina.

Copper alloy brooch fragment, Colchester derivative type with variant Polden Hill spring attachment. Upper half only, missing spring. pin; bent; very corroded. The ends of the wings have 12mm wide tabs folded around to hold the spring axis bar; a rear hook held the chord. The wings have a pair of diagonal grooves and probably a pair of vertical grooves at the terminals. Copper alloy brooch fragment, Trumpet type. Upper bow only, damaged head. The spring etc was attached to a large vertical lug; a black deposit in the back of the head is probably the remains of clay mould. The head is plain except for a single incised line around the margin. The bow is circular in section but with a slight angle at the middle front. An incomplete probable terret ring of Roman date. The bar of the terret is of oval cross-section and is in a horizontal plain, rather than the more typical vertical bar of Late Iron Age examples. The long bar forms a base for the terret and the hoop emerges from two integral grooved platforms. The hoop only survives on one side and there is the suggestion of a spur rising from the interior of the hoop. There is no surviving evidence for attachment on the underside of the bar, implying the terret was attached by means of a strap securing the bar. The piece is eroded, and apart from the …

Copper alloy brooch, Trumpet derived type. Missing part of pin and catchplate fold, damage to headloop. The pin is hinged, the headloop cast, the wings have two V-profile grooves. The bow is flat backed; it has a central rectangular panel with two transverse ribs above and below and four originally enamelled rectangular cells across the middle - one cell has possible traces of blue enamel.
