A copper-alloy core of a plated copy of a Corieltavi / North-Eastern uninscribed gold stater, ‘Kite’ type, dating to c. 50 BC - AD 10. Obv. Type largely obliterated. Rev. Lunate horse left; above, diamond (kite) with four pellets. ABC p. 93, cf. no. 1761. The coin is in poor, incomplete condition, is 14mm in diameter, 2mm thick and weighs 1.61g.

A copper-alloy core from a plated gold Iron Age stater of the North Eastern Region / Catuvellauni, probably South Ferriby type, dating to the period c.50-20 BC. Obverse: Wreath, cloak, and crescents. Reverse: Disjointed horse left, 'anchor' face above, unclear motif below. cf. ABC p. 92, no. 1743 for the prototype. The coin appears to have a base metal with very minute traces of gold plating barely visible.
