CORONER'S REPORT Circumstance of discovery Two coins were found about 500m apart from each other, on opposite sides of the same field, on an adjacent field to the findspot of an earlier hoard recovered from 2001 onwards and declared Treasure in 2003 (see PAS ref WAW-A89225 for second coin). The Coins Both coins are Iron Age silver units of North Eastern type. They originated in the East Midlands and are generally attributed to a tribe known as the Corieltavi.
