A complete cast copper alloy Roman votive axehead. The axehead is sub-rectangular in plan. In profile, it is wedge-shaped, with the 'cutting end' being 0.80mm thick at the edge. The opposite (handle) end has a thickness of 3.56mm at the edge and is truncated by a flat, sub-rectangular face featuring an oval depression at its centre. The thicker end also has a transverse circular perforation all the way through, which sits near the top edge rather than centrally. The whole surface is covered by a shiny, compact dark green-grey patina, but features shallow scratches throughout. …

A bent fragment of a Roman copper alloy bracelet or armlet, 4mm wide with a flat cross section. The exterior is divided into panels by deeply incised transverse lines, each panel with an oblique line running across it diagonally with a pair of offset notches, one to each side. The angle of the diagonals alternates creating a zig-zag effect. The bracelet appears to have been intentionally cut to respect the edges of the panels at either end and has been bent around, possibly for re-use as a finger ring. There are traces of a white metal coating.

A post-Medieval cast copper alloy spur hook. The object has a narrow hooked arm to attach to an eye of the spur terminal, with flanking lobes half way down and a lozengiform rear terminal. This is drilled to take a rivet with a domed and teardrop-shaped head acting as an integral rove to attach to the leathers. Circa 16th-17th century.

A fragment of a copper alloy Roman finger ring, comprising a raised oval bezel, 8.2mm long and 3.3mm high, with a deep setting for a now lost stone or intaglio. The bezel rises from the line of the hoop which has a flat cross section and triangular shoulders which are waisted at the junction to the bezel and which taper into the hoop. The shoulders are decorated with transverse ridges. Cf. Guiraud's (1989) Type 3 (later 2nd to later 3rd century AD) or Henig's (2007, 13) Type VIII (3rd century AD).

An early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cast copper alloy saucer brooch, dating to c. AD.450-550. The front of the brooch is dished, with an angular and upturned rim around; this is incomplete on one side. The front of the brooch is decorated with a five pointed star pattern formed by double-ridged concave arcs enclosed by an engraved concentric line around a small central boss. There is no trace of gilding. The reverse has an in-line hinge lug and catchplate. There is extensive deposition of iron corrosion products around the hinge lug from a now lost iron spring and pin.

An incomplete Roman (AD 100-300) copper alloy finger-ring of Daubney's Group 7 (Miscellaneous) decoration. part of the hoop is missing. In shape the bezel is oval. It is decorated with an oval field, at the centre of which is a smaller oval (of copper alloy) with two (copper alloy) transverse lines running across it. This divides the central oval into the three lateral fields. No enamel survives. A Post Medieval gilded copper alloy token or Gaming counter in the style of a George III (AD 1760-1820) half guinea , dating to AD 1790. Dimensions: 19.8mm in diameter, weight: 2.72g. These coin-like gaming pieces were made in imitation of gold guineas and half guineas of George III's 'spade' type issued between 1787 and 1799. A late Early-Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) copper-alloy anthropomorphic mount, probably from a stirrup terminal and 20.3mm in length. The terminal is triangular in cross section and overall shape. The decoration unusually is not zoomorphic, instead having a moulded ridge around the wide end, from which a subrectangular lobe projects up the centre of the plate and with the narrower portion of the object tapering to a break with incised lines along the margin. A complete Post Medieval cast copper alloy buckle, c.AD 1720-1770. A Georgian shoe buckle, complete with chape and pin. The buckle comprises a heavily arched frame, drilled spindle, chape, and pin. The frame is D-shaped in cross section, and swells along its horizontal and vertical sides, tapering to narrowed corners. The chape frame is sub-oval and has a single internal spike. It has two hollow lugs that accommodate an iron spindle. Between the lugs a copper-alloy pin is secured by the spindle. The pin is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear.

AN incomplete probable miniature copper alloy socketed axe head, probably dating from the Bronze Age to the Roman period (1000 BC to AD 410).  Less than 25% of the socketed axehgead is present, consisting of the loop and part of the mouth. There is a large loop taking up most of the length od the body one end has a large flange.
