A silver early Medieval early penny (sceat), Series H (secondary) Type 49: Metcalf 1, Wodan / Peacock, dating to AD 720-745. Obverse: round moustached Woden face centrally with beaded outline surrounded by ten bosses comprising pellets in annulets. Reverse: Crested peacock displaying right with linear body, splayed feet and pellet within ring of pellets below neck. Hamwic (Southampton) Mint. See Abrahamson (2017): p. 185.

A cast copper alloy Roman Trumpet brooch, 50.83mm in length, missing its spring and pin. The head is oval with a protruding lozengiform terminal at the front and single hinge loop underneath. The bow is of triangular cross section divided centrally by a pair of reels with a central button. The lower part of the bow tapers to a moulded foot with a deep triangular catchplate beneath. Circa late 1st to late 2nd century AD.

A copper alloy fragment from a late Roman multiple motif armlet, 33.48mm in length. The fragment is flat in cross section, slightly curved in side profile and decorated on one side with three panels divided by transverse ridges, each containing a different arrangement of dot-in-annulet motifs of various sizes. Circa 3rd-4th century AD.

A square uniface copper alloy Coin Weight of 6.7g (103.4gr) dating to c 1461-1600. The weight depicts a king with sword and shield standing in a ship with a rose in the centre of the hull and is for a Ryal (rose noble), used from the reigns of Edward IV to Elizabeth I. It was equivalent to 5 Shillings. This weight was possibly struck in the Low Countries. The reverse is blank.

A Medieval cast copper alloy hooked strap fitting comprising a bar mount with an (incomplete) hooked terminal. The bar is D-sectioned with moulded ribs, a pierced convex central boss and two rounded terminals, one of which is drilled for a rivet. The hook possibly once held a pendant loop to attach small items or a purse to the belt. Circa 13th - 14th century.

A cast copper alloy pin from a Medieval annular buckle, 42mm in length. The pin has a sub rectangular cross section with rounded corners. There is a small raised grip at the junction with the loop which likely aided with the operation of the buckle. The articulation loop is complete but has been bent open. Circa late 13th-15th century.

An incomplete cast copper alloy early post medieval blunt-hooked clasp of Read's (2008) Class A, Type 10. The clasp has a sub-lozenge shaped plate decorated in moulded relief with a four petalled flower with sepals bordered by two addorsed spirals. There are three small attachment loops, one at the rear end and two flanking the base of the blunt hook at the front end, which has broken. The surface has traces of tinning.

An early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cast copper alloy saucer brooch, dating to c. AD.450-550. The front of the brooch is dished, with an angular and upturned rim around; this is incomplete on one side. The front of the brooch is decorated with a five pointed star pattern formed by double-ridged concave arcs enclosed by an engraved concentric line around a small central boss. There is no trace of gilding. The reverse has an in-line hinge lug and catchplate. There is extensive deposition of iron corrosion products around the hinge lug from a now lost iron spring and pin.
