The object has suffered from extensive post-depositional damage to the extent that it has been folded/rolled and squashed rendering its original form uncertain. It appears to have been flat and possibly circular in shape. A large cast copper alloy object, possibly a needle of some sort but of uncertain date. It is oval shaped in section with a sub-triangular head that tapers to a curved shaft and the remains of the now missing point. The top of the head is bilobate resembling the curved upper edge of a bone and has a central circular perforation. On either side of the object below the perforation where the head joins the shaft are moulded diagonal grooves. Beneath this the shaft curves and tapers sharply towards the tip. A small, incomplete glass bead or perhaps a glass setting/inlay. It is hemispherical with a flat base and domed front. Approximately three quarters of the object survives, the remainder missing due to old breaks. It is a pale yellow/orange in colour and measures 3.82mm in diameter by 2.01mm in height. This bead or inlay is of uncertain date, however given the associated objects might potentially date to the Early-Medieval period.

A copper alloy casting jet or sprue of uncertain date. It has a flat sub-circular front face from which extend two near identical prongs. These are sub-rectangular in shape and extend outwards slightly before swelling to terminals with flattened sub-circular exterior faces. The entire object measures 28.48mm in height, 31mm in width, 16.69mm in thickness/diameter at the front face, and weighs 28.33g. This sprue is resultant from the casting of copper alloy and as such is of uncertain date ranging from any period between the Bronze Age and Post-Medieval periods.
