An incomplete copper-alloy zoomorphic plate brooch of Roman date. The brooch is in the form of a dog that is flat, slightly bent and missing its neck and head due to old breaks. It has a sub-triangular shaped body with narrow hind leg and thin tail that curves slightly forwards above the hind end of the animal. The front leg is thin and extends forwards to give the impression that the animal is running. On the front face is a large recessed field that covers the majority of the body and preserves traces of blue enamel. On the back face at the hind end of the dog is an integrally cast …

They are both examples of the silver double patard (also known as the double plack) of Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy (1467-1477), striking coins in his capacity as count of Flanders. The standards of this coin was a little over 80% fine silver. Four copper-alloy Nuremberg type rose and orb jetons very worn and damaged with illegible legends. All with traces of alternate crowns and fleur de lis arranged centrifually around a central rose on one face and an imperial orb surmounted by a cross patty within a tressure of three main arches on the other. They measure; 22mm diameter and 0.81g, 21mm in diameter and 1.16g, 19mm in diameter and 0.55g and finally c20mm diameter and 0.63g. These tokens could date from 1500-c1650.

A copper-alloy coin weight square in shape, measuring 13.5mm by 13.5mm in size and 3.71g in weight. The front face of this weight has an angel using a spear on its front face and a crown with the letter 'X S' beneath it on its back face. This coin weight a half laurel (10s), originally weighting 4.55g. It therefore date to between 1620-1632 (Biggs 1993, 28-29).

A worn copper-alloy coin weight, this weight is circular in shape with a diameter of 16mm and a thickness of 2mm. On the front face of the weight there is a ship with a central shield, the masts are clearly visible but the rest of the ship is worn. It is likely that this coin weight was originally for a ryal but is now smaller and lighter due to the level of wear it has sustained. It therefore was circulated c1500.
