A complete Early Bronze Age stone arm guard (bracer) dating to circa 2300-2100 BC. Broadly rectangular in plan in section it has polished bevelled edges. At either end are located central circular drilled apertures to enable fixing to the arm. The faces of the stone have been smoothed. One end is slightly wider than the other. Broadly linear striations on both faces are the result of the bow having snapped-back during firing. An incomplete copper- alloy Roman trumpet brooch. Only the central and lower bow survive, while the head, foot and catch-plate are all missing. There is an ancanthus moulding in the centre of the bow, which does not extend to the reverse. It is composed of three closely space raised transverse ridges with notches around the outer edges to create petals and is flanked on either side by a raised ridge. A complete Early Medieval gold pin dating to circa AD 550-900. The head is flat and sub-oval, broadly heart-shaped, with two lobes projecting from the top. The head gives way to the cylindrical shank, which tapers gently into a point. Both faces of the pin head are decorated with the same incised design. A complete Iron Age to Roman copper-alloy penannular brooch dating to circa AD 1-100. The brooch is complete though the frame is now bent and distorted. The frame is rectangular sectioned. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy finger ring dating to circa AD 100-300. The extant elements of the ring consist of the bezel with intaglio setting, shoulders and a small portion of the hoop, now survived by short stubs. The bezel is flat with damage on one side. An oval setting of probable nicolo (onyx) projects from the bezel with a blue coloured stone top. On its front face is a crudely engraved figure walking left.
