A complete but distorted solid gold penannular ring dating to the Middle Bronze Age, c. 1550-1150 BC. It is broadly oval in plan view and plano-convex in section, being formed of three 'D' sectioned bands which have been soldered together, though in places these are starting to come away from one another. The terminals are squared off, but now overlap due to damage. A sherd from the body of an early Bronze Age vessel, dating to the period c.2350-c.1200 BC. Hard, coarse fabric containing plentiful poorly sorted quartz pieces (<2mm). The outer surface and core are an oxidised orange-red colour while the inner surface is a lighter grey. The outer surface is decorated with bands of three and two parallel lines of small square indentations. Description: A fragment of a late Bronze Age socketed axe. Only the blade end and the inner part of the socket survives. The fragment is rectangular in cross-section, tapering towards the blade. The blade edge curves outwards and is damaged in places with a notch to one side. Each side of the fragment flares outwards towards the blade and gently inwards towards the break. A copper-alloy fragment of a Middle Bronze Age side-looped spearhead, dating to 1500 - 1200 BC. It consists of the socket and the lower part of the blade. The socket is damaged and incomplete, however an original oval cross-section can be confidently suggested. An incomplete copper-alloy basal-looped spearhead of the Middle Bronze Age, dating to 1500 BC -1150 BC. The blade has a flame shape in plan and a lozenge-shaped cross-section, with a slightly rounded mid-rib ridge extending to the its tip. There is only one oval loop surviving out of the two which are incorporated into the base of the blade, one either side of the central rib. The tip fragment of a bronze spearhead. Measuring 42.17mm in surviving length and 14.34mm in width, at the widest surviving point. This spearhead has been severly affected by invasive corrosion, no original edges survive and there is only about 70% of the surface surviving on one face and 20% on the other. A complete Early Bronze Age stone arm guard (bracer) dating to circa 2300-2100 BC. Broadly rectangular in plan in section it has polished bevelled edges. At either end are located central circular drilled apertures to enable fixing to the arm. The faces of the stone have been smoothed. One end is slightly wider than the other. Broadly linear striations on both faces are the result of the bow having snapped-back during firing. A cast copper-alloy blade fragment from an axehead, probably a socketed axehead or palstave. This fragment measures 20mm in lenght, 21.5mm in width and is 9mm thick. It includes the corner of the blade and part of one side. There is no definate casting seam visible and no trace of a socket, however, this is to be expected with such a small fragment. The fragment has a pale and dark green patina with some corrosive products visible. The blade edge has been largely affected by corrosion. This fragment is most likely to be middle of late Bronze Age in date.
