A gold Quarter-Ryal of Edward IV, Light Coinage (c.1464/5-1470 AD). The use of the lis as mint mark indicates a date (according to North, 1975: pp. 67-69) between July 1466 and July 1467 AD. As North, 1975: no. 1560.

Gold noble,appears to be standard type A (North 1975, p30), worn and damaged around the edges, probably Edward III post treaty period, 1369-77 or Edward IV, first reign heavy coinage 1461-1465. Its weight is equivalent to 105.6 grains, the nobles from Edward IV heavy coinage were 108 grains and this is the closest weight to our example. (North, 1975, 65, no 1527).
