A complete ceramic bead of an uncertain date ranging from the Roman to Post Medieval periods. it is an irregular discoidal shape with a sloping profile. The central aperture is small <4mm in diameter. The exterior edge is decorated with two sets of four longitudinal incised grooves. There is seemingly a thick horizontal band running across approximately half of the exterior intersecting with the longitudinal grooves.  Beads are difficult to date without context. Consequently, a broad Roman to Post Medieval date is suggested here, Diameter: 18.5mm; Height: 14.7mm; Weight: 3.82g.

A sherd of an Iron Age to early medieval shelly ware vessel. The sherd comes from the body of the vessel. Both faces and margins are an oxidised patchy red and brown with a reduced brown core. The fabric is hard and coarse and is tempered with plentiful white shelly fragments (<5mm), occasional fine quartz sand and mica, and there are many voids where fragments have been lost.
