A fragment of a ceramic vessel of an unknown date. The extant piece consists of circa 80% of a handle. It is rectangular in plan and lenticular in section. The fabric is soft buff orange exterior, interior and core with infrequent, large sub-angular inclusions of white and dark stone.

A complete ceramic bead of an uncertain date ranging from the Roman to Post Medieval periods. it is an irregular discoidal shape with a sloping profile. The central aperture is small <4mm in diameter. The exterior edge is decorated with two sets of four longitudinal incised grooves. There is seemingly a thick horizontal band running across approximately half of the exterior intersecting with the longitudinal grooves.  Beads are difficult to date without context. Consequently, a broad Roman to Post Medieval date is suggested here, Diameter: 18.5mm; Height: 14.7mm; Weight: 3.82g.

A sherd of an Iron Age to early medieval shelly ware vessel. The sherd comes from the body of the vessel. Both faces and margins are an oxidised patchy red and brown with a reduced brown core. The fabric is hard and coarse and is tempered with plentiful white shelly fragments (<5mm), occasional fine quartz sand and mica, and there are many voids where fragments have been lost. Length: 73.16mm, width: 63.72mm, thickness: 12.31mm, weight: 52.44g

A very abraded body sherd from a handmade pottery vessel with dark grey to black (burnt?) fabric that has organic inclusions and is missing its exterior surface due to post-depositional damage. It measures 33.47mm in length, 42.22mm in width, 7.91mm in thickness, and 9.91g in weight. This sherd is of uncertain date, either belonging in the Prehistoric period (Bronze to Iron Ages, c.2550-1 BC) or Early Anglo-Saxon period (c.5th-7th centuries AD).
