Cast copper-alloy zoomorphic brooch dating to the Roman period c. AD 100-200. The brooch is broken near the head and missing the pin and lug, but otherwise complete. It takes the form of a fish or dolphin and is approx. 52.1mm in length. The fish's tail is triangular and inset with two panels of triangular, brown coloured enamel, much of which is now missing. The maximum width of the tail is 12.9mm. On the underside of the tail are two semi-circular lugs with evidence of iron staining around a pierced hole. This would have been the pierced plate portion of the brooch hinge.…

Copper-alloy figurine in the shape of a sitting leopard,, a likely vehicle fitting, very worn with a dark- grey-green patina, some losses at the extremities. The figurine is 151.7 mm long, 100.1 mm high, 29.8 mm at its widest and weighs 736.3 g. The leopard sits with head twisted to the right. The head is modelled in detail, especially its right side. The ring band is 'D' shaped in section, and the shoulders are slightly flared. The lower portion of the band (directly opposite the bezel) is slightly thicker and features a slight point. Complete cast copper-alloy late Roman buckle of zoomorphic design, dating to c. AD 300 - 410. The buckle is of Hawkes and Dunning Type IIB, with an integrally cast sub-circular buckle plate. The loop is formed of two dolphin heads curving upward to meet, open-jawed, at the diamond-shaped pin rest in the centre of the outer loop edge. An incomplete Roman copper alloy disc brooch with enamel inlay, dating AD150-250. The object is in the form of a disc with an integral loop and catchplate on the reverse. Through the loop is a spring pin, with some of the coils remaining but the pin no longer present. There is a circular recess on the front of the disc, forming a raised border around the edge. An incomplete Roman copper alloy two-piece brooch, dating AD 50-150. Only the head and part of the bow survive. Traces of the spring pin remain in the semi-cylindrical crossbar. There are two cast loops, one within the crossbar and one at the top of the head of the bow, through which the spring would have been attached to the brooch.
