A copper-alloy Roman late third or fourth century bracelet fragment. This fragment is rectangular in shape. It is a flattened D-shape in section with a flat back on rounded front face. One end of the front face is decorated by two ring and dot motifs separated by a transverse groove. The remainder of the fragment is decorated with two pairs of transverse grooves before terminating in old breaks. The back face is undecorated. At the top are the remains of an iron suspension loop. This weight measures 24.20mm in length, 20.06mm in diameter, 44.55g in weight This is a steelyard weight of probable Roman date, although a later date cannot be ruled out entirely. There is a similar example from Colchester (Crummy, 1983, p. 101, no. 2510) and recorded on the PAS database (SF-F6878E).

The corroded remains of the iron suspension loop is visible at both top and bottom of the weight. This weight measures 57.67mm in length, 32.05mm in diameter, 130.84g in weight This is a steelyard weight of probable Roman date, although a later date cannot be ruled out entirely. There is a similar example from Colchester (Crummy, 1983, p. 101, no. 2510) and recorded on the PAS database (SF-62C5A7).

Description: A silver fragment possibly from a medieval brooch frame, although the fragment is too small to be sure. It consists of a oval section fragment of frame with a circular knop, the other side of which the frame is flat with a rectangular section, and therefore may potentially be a constriction for a missing pin. Dimensions: 15.65mm in length, 1.73mm in width and 1.47mm in thickness across the frame, and 4.27mm in diameter across the knop, 0.53g in weight. Description: A complete gold bead pendant now squashed and distorted. The bead was originally spherical and is hollow; it has a gold rivet through its centre which terminates in a circular loop at the upper end, from which it could have been suspended. The upper edge of the bead has a single band of beaded gold wire applied. Dimensions: 3.20g in weight, 18.87mm in length, 13.17mm in width and 6.23mm in thickness. An incomplete lead seal matrix of Medieval date. It is missing part of the lug due to old breaks. It is flat, pointed oval or vesica in shape; one end is more rounded than the other. On the front is a central motif of a bird on top of a lis. This is surrounded by a legend that reads +S'IOHIS LE TORI(S)RE (Seal of John the ?). It is a pity that the surname cannot be read; the closest suggestion in Reaney and Wilson is Tortise, derived from tortoise and meaning slow.
