A fragment of Post-Medieval peg tile with large square peg hole. The tile has been seemingly deliberately cut to produce a sub-circular or oval form around the peg hole, perhaps to change the usage of the tile to something else like a simple weight. It measures 56.31mm in length, 51.01mm in width, 13.56mm in thickness and 45.59g in weight. It is of Post-Medieval date, c.16th-18th centuries AD if not slightly later.
