An incomplete copper-alloy probably Roman strap fitting, dating to AD 43-410. It consists of a disc with a sub-rectangular cross section, which has an integrally cast narrower tab protruding from its lower edge; the base of the protrusion bears an unclear iron rod/rivet completely covered by iron corrosion products. The back face of the disc has a rectangular loop with a rectangular cross-sectioned frame; the latter is set along the longitudinal axis of the object. No other parallels have been found. A copper-alloy Roman strap slide, dating to AD 43-402. It consists of a roughly drop-shaped plate, which has a flattened wider end and a half-rounded knop at the pointed one. The flattened end has a slightly recessed protruding semi-oval tab. The front face of the plate is slightly convex while the back face is concave with an integral rectangular loop, which is set along the longitudinal axis of the mount. An incomplete Roman to Early Medieval propeller-shaped belt stiffener, dating to AD 350-450. It consists of a central oval flat element, which has a sub-trapezoidal plate extending to either side. The front face has a longitudinal median rib, which is pierced at either end by two copper-alloy rivets. The long borders of the front face are decorated with a line of incised dots. Description: A complete silver post-medieval strap fitting. The object is roughly an elongated oval shape, but with straight outer ends. The outer face is decorated with two triangular notches cut into each outer end, a band of cross-hatched decoration across each end behind these and the inscription Richard Guuen with 1686 below formed from small dots. An incomplete copper-alloy object of Early Anglo-Saxon date, possibly a strap or belt fitting. Both ends are incompete due to old breaks. At one (attachment?) end there are the remains of three evenly spaced oval shaped lugs. The central of these three lugs survives intact and has a single oval aperture that demonstrates signs of use wear, the lugs to either side missing their outer edges due to old breaks. Description: An incomplete gilded silver swivel of medieval date. It is made in two parts; an oval handle with hollow cylindrical shaft at its base, and a separate incomplete cylindrical rod, which fits within this. An incomplete cast copper-alloy object of probable Roman date. It comprises a flat, rectangular plate that is perhaps incomplete at its attachment end.
