A sherd from the body of an early Bronze Age vessel, dating to the period c.2350-c.1200 BC. Hard, coarse fabric containing plentiful poorly sorted quartz pieces (<2mm). The outer surface and core are an oxidised orange-red colour while the inner surface is a lighter grey. The outer surface is decorated with bands of three and two parallel lines of small square indentations. Description: A fragment of a late Bronze Age socketed axe. Only the blade end and the inner part of the socket survives. The fragment is rectangular in cross-section, tapering towards the blade. The blade edge curves outwards and is damaged in places with a notch to one side. Each side of the fragment flares outwards towards the blade and gently inwards towards the break. A slight casting seam can be seen running longitudinally along the centre of one side, but this has largely worn away on the other side. Large scraper made from an opaque, grey-brown flint with some inclusions. There is a small area of cortex at one end. Both the dorsal and ventral faces show signs of a conchoidal fracture although the scars are weakly defined and may reflect natural fracture. Retouch extends across the upper right hand side of the flint (as shown) and down the right hand side. A complete Early Bronze Age stone arm guard (bracer) dating to circa 2300-2100 BC. Broadly rectangular in plan in section it has polished bevelled edges. At either end are located central circular drilled apertures to enable fixing to the arm. The faces of the stone have been smoothed. One end is slightly wider than the other. Broadly linear striations on both faces are the result of the bow having snapped-back during firing. An incomplete copper alloy early Bronze Age flanged axe. The outer part of the butt is missing. It has strongly concave sides with a flaring, outwards curving blade. A low flange runs down either side, disappearing towards the blade. The surface of the metal is heavily corroded and the breaks are well worn. Cast copper-alloy sword fragment, probably dating from the Later Bronze Age, that is c. 1250-800BC. The fragment is triangular with a pointed oval cross-section. The surface is worn and only few patches of the greenish brown patina survive; the blunt tip is slightly bent. The fragment is too small to be completely certain of the sword type, but it is likely a sword type that was part of the Late Bronze Age Wilburton or Ewart Park metalwork assemblages. An incomplete copper-alloy Bronze Age axehead, dating to 1500-1100 BC. It has a sub-rectangular socketed body with a semi-oval loop on the short side. The mouth is largely missing; the only surviving fragment refers to one of the short sides, bearing a raised rim followed by a transverse raised line. The integrally cast loop is set on the latter side. The body of the axehead flares and thins towards the blade which is heavily damaged on its cutting edge. A copper-alloy fragment of a Middle Bronze Age side-looped spearhead, dating to 1500 - 1200 BC. It consists of the socket and the lower part of the blade. The socket is damaged and incomplete, however an original oval cross-section can be confidently suggested. Symmetrically placed on the sides of the socket are two oval loops, which have an oval cross-sectioned frame. An incomplete copper-alloy basal-looped spearhead of the Middle Bronze Age, dating to 1500 BC -1150 BC. The blade has a flame shape in plan and a lozenge-shaped cross-section, with a slightly rounded mid-rib ridge extending to the its tip. There is only one oval loop surviving out of the two which are incorporated into the base of the blade, one either side of the central rib.
