TREASURE CASE : 2012 T784. A complete cast and hammered silver sheet toilet implement of medieval date. The implement is a combined ear scoop and toothpick and nail cleaner. The toothpick and nail cleaner terminal is triangular in shape and tapers in thickness as well as width to a pointed tip. From the wider end of the triangular terminal a circular sectioned S-twisted shaft extends and is slightly bent in two places. TREASURE CASE : 2012 T785. A complete cast silver lace tag of post-medieval date. The lace tag is formed from a single piece of silver which is a single-pointed ovate in shape with a large perforation, or eye, through the wider end. Each of the four edges are chamfered and the lace tag tapers to a rounded point. The object is undecorated. Similar lace tags have been reported as Treasure for example 2012 T475 (HAMP-84B221) and 2005 T324 (HAMP-57FE56). A partially crushed lead vessel. Length: 31.7mm; width: 58.6mm; wall thickness at the open top: 3-4mm; mass: 92.0g. The vessel appears to have been circular in section originally, tapering from a (now partially closed) opening at the top to a slightly concave rather than entirely flat base. An incomplete sheet tin alloy 'scutiform' / disc pendant, of Early Early Medieval dating (AD 500 to AD 600). The pendant is sub circular in plan, with a rectangular extension to the top. This rectangular extension would have originally formed part of the suspension loop and is incomplete. The front of the pendant exhibits a central raised circular boss. An incomplete copper-alloy Trumpet brooch (Group A: Bayley and Butcher 2004, 160 ,fig.130) of Roman date, c.AD 75-150. Only the bow re mains. The bow has a sub-circular cross section and both terminals end at a worn rounded break. The top of the bow is triangular in shape and opens out to two decorative central disks, which wraps round the back of the brooch.
