A plated silver contemporary copy of a siliqua of Gratian (AD 367-383), dating to the period AD 367-383 (Reece period 19). RESTITVTOR REIP reverse type depicting the Emperor standing right in military dress holding labarum and palladium. Cf. RIC IX, p. 62, no. 6 for the reverse type.
This coin combines an obverse of Gratian struck with a reverse type used by Valens at Arles between AD 364-367.
