A copper-alloy Roman radiate of Carausius (AD 286-293), dating to AD 286-293 (Reece Period 14), [S] [A]VGG or [S]AL(V?[S] AGG; Salus standing left, feeding snake at altar (with three pieces of incense) and holding vertical sceptre. Probably unattributed mint. The obverse is of good style and the reverse reasonable. This is the first coin of this precise type seen by Sam Moorhead. The coin is slightly chipped. .

Mint of London., B E // [MLXXI]. cf RIC V, part II, p. 464, no. 13. The mintmark is not recorded in RIC, but Sam Moorhead has 11 specimens in his corpus for the new RIC.
