An incomplete Roman copper-alloy Colchester Derivative Harlow Spring/double lug brooch dating to circa AD 43-70. It is C-shaped in section and T-shaped in plan. The brooch consists of the head, wings, bow and a portion of the double lug. The spring mechanism, pin and catchplate are missing. The wings are hemispherical with rounded outer face and concave reverse. The lug is comprised of upper and lower perforations which have broken, now survived by three stubs.
