An incomplete Roman silver siliqua of Valentinian I (AD 364-375) or Valens (AD 364-378) dating to the period c.AD 364-367 (Reece Period 19). RESTITVTOR REIP reverse type depicting the Emperor standing facing holding facing, holding labarum and Victory on globe. Probably mint of Arles. cf. Hoxne nos. 181, 184. The coin has been damaged and has been broken in half fairly recently.
