An incomplete Roman copper-alloy finger ring dating to circa AD 100-300. The extant elements of the ring consist of the bezel with intaglio setting, shoulders and a small portion of the hoop, now survived by short stubs. The bezel is flat with damage on one side. An oval setting of probable nicolo (onyx) projects from the bezel with a blue coloured stone top. On its front face is a crudely engraved figure walking left. The shoulders taper inwards and are plain. They are plano-convex in section and plain on the underside.
