An incomplete Roman copper-alloy finger ring dating to circa aD 200-300. It has a faceted octagonal bezel with steep flat walls. In the centre is a bluestone gem setting with a central motif of probable corn ears. Only one of the shoulders survive. The extant shoulder consists of a narrowed, constricted section before it flares outwards. From here, the flared segment tapers inwards before terminating in an old break. The flared section is decorated with flanking incised grooves.

An incomplete Roman copper-alloy finger ring dating to circa AD 100-300. The extant elements of the ring consist of the bezel with intaglio setting, shoulders and a small portion of the hoop, now survived by short stubs. The bezel is flat with damage on one side. An oval setting of probable nicolo (onyx) projects from the bezel with a blue coloured stone top. On its front face is a crudely engraved figure walking left. The shoulders taper inwards and are plain. They are plano-convex in section and plain on the underside.

An incomplete copper-alloy spiral ring probably of Bronze Age period, dating to c. 1500.1150 BC. It is circular in plan and it is formed by three coils of an oval cross-sectioned metal wire; both ends are broken and worn. The surface is very abraded and heavily pitted.
A similar object has been recorded on the PAS database as HAMP-7556B3 and SF-761FF6 , see also examples of spiraloid rings in the Near Lewes hoard (SUSS-C5D042) and the Ockham hoard (SUR-B41DB6), both Middle Bronze Age in date. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman finger ring. Only the bezel and fragments of the shoulders survive. The bezel has an oval recessed setting for a missing bead or stone. The shoulders taper towards the breaks. It is very worn and damaged.
It is assigned to Henig's type II (1974, p. 55, fig. 1), which dates to the 1st-3rd century.

Description: A complete but squashed gold finger ring of earlier Roman date. The 'D' sectioned hoop is somewhat slender and has been (deliberately?) broken at its base, the two ends subsequently folded in on each other. The shoulders are plain, expanding into an oval bezel at their apex. The latter is decorated with the faint incised design of a palm frond, but is otherwise plain.

Description: A complete silver finger ring of Henig's type VIII dating to the Roman period, c. 200-300 AD. The ring demonstrates a circular plano-convex sectioned hoop, with characteristic 'keeled' shoulders that expand into a slightly raised sub-oval bezel.
