Irregular perforated weight or spindle-whorl made from chalk. Sub-rectangular with rounded corners when viewed either from the top or the side, it measures 27 x 34 mm and is 15 mm thick. It is either not particularly well made or has suffered some damage, as it has a rather lumpy outline. The circular perforation is a little off-centre and is symmetrically waisted, narrowing slightly to c. 10 mm minimum diameter. Spindle whorl made from some kind of stone, probably sandstone but possibly lava. It is globular, with its widest point (35 mm in diameter) not at the midpoint but three-fifths of the way towards one end. It measures 25 mm from one end of the central circular perforation to the other, and the perforation flares from 7 mm at the more pointed end to 9 mm at the more rounded end. There are five grooves around the circumference which were probably made on a lathe. Perforated pebble-hammer. Irregularly oval or sub-triangular in shape, relatively flat and small, with a drilled central perforation. Each edge is convex; there are two chips off the straightest and longest edge, but otherwise the object is complete. The stone is fine-grained with a smooth hard surface, and pale/medium brown. The perforation is relatively straight, and this suggests a Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date rather than Mesolithic. A complete stone spindle whorl, conical in shape with a diameter of 33.2mm and a height of 18.34mm. The stone is dense and light grey in colour. There is a circular perforation through the centre of this spindle whorl, measuring 6.9mm at the tapering end and 8.6mm at the flat face. The flat face of this spindle whorl is decorated with two concentric incised circles. This spindle whorl is perhaps most likely to be Anglo-Saxon in date, especially due to the Anglo-Saxon objects it was found in the same area as.

A fragment of a stone probable spindle whorl, circular in shape and measuring c33mm in diameter and 8.9mm thick. The stone is mid grey in colour. The complete face is smooth and flat and the other face is missing due to an old break. The surviving sides do not seem to be tapering so it is likely that this possible spindle whorl was flat rather than conical in shape. There is a central circular perforation, 7.6mm in diameter. A possible whetstone of unknown date, it is rectangular in shape and measures 71.72mm in length 30.47mm in width and 14.1mm in thickness. The stone appears to be a limestone and has scratches across its faces and deep diagonal grooves along one side. Both faces have circular semi-perforated holes in opposing corners, these holes are in the same position in both faces but why they were not drilled all the way through is unknown. It is possible that this object is unfinished.

A stone whorl, complete apart from a small missing fragment on one edge. It is biconvex with a central circular hole and measures 33.86mm in diameter, 24.44mm in height and is 35.48g in weight. An incomplete polished stone axehead of Neolithic date. It is oval in shape, bifacially polished and narrows slightly towards the butt end. This is probably a fragment from the cutting end of a larger stone implement, the original butt end now missing due to old breaks. The cutting edges themselves are slightly chipped in places, perhaps deliberately although equally the result of post-depositional damage. A complete polished stone axe of Neolithic date, pointed oval section. The axe is formed from a finely grained stone that is green/brown in colour with some evidence of post-depositional damage in the form of iron staining on both faces. It is oval in form and section with sharp, crescentic cutting edge that shows little sign of use-wear or retouch. It has good all-over polish with a slightly flattened butt end and two small areas of damage or flake removal, but is otherwise undamaged.
