A worn copper-alloy coin weight, this weight is circular in shape with a diameter of 16mm and a thickness of 2mm. On the front face of the weight there is a ship with a central shield, the masts are clearly visible but the rest of the ship is worn. It is likely that this coin weight was originally for a ryal but is now smaller and lighter due to the level of wear it has sustained. It therefore was circulated c1500.
