The handle of a silver spoon of 17th century date. The bowl is now missing due to an old break. The stem has a rectangular section, flaring slightly towards its terminal end which is chamfered and engraved with the initials FS; these are likely to be the owner's initials.

A copper alloy fastener or toggle of Post-Medieval date. It is 24.21mm in length, 19.09mm in width and 7.5mm thick. It weighs 7.61gm. It consists of a rounded body in the shape of a pointed oval, from the centre at one side of which extends a short, oval shaft which terminates with a pair of flat loops, positioned side by side. The pestle has a smooth, dark green patina. Examples on the PAS Database include SWYOR E137B1, and DENO-D53724 lists many others. An incomplete, squashed and worn silver thimble of 17th century date. The upper terminal is open and tapers. The longitudinal edge, which was presumably soldered originally, is now unstuck. The outer face is decorated with rows of square indentations and over these are four evenly spaced circular motifs. The rim has two circumferential decorative border grooves. This thimble is very similar to another example from Bawdrip, Somerset, (2004 T22), (Treasure Annual Report 2004, 146, no 334). Description: A silver post-medieval bodkin fragment. Only the terminal end of the eye survives with the start of the rectangular opening through this. The bodkin is decorated on both faces; one face has opposing possible leaf motifs and the other has the letters IS (in a heart?) above another possible leaf motif. A complete gold posy ring with thin, circular and D-shaped hoop. The exterior of the hoop is undecorated, but in places has been folded inwards due to damage in the ground. Inside the hoop is an incised inscription that reads 'Harbour a harmles [heart symbol]'. At the end of the inscription is a small stamped makers mark in the shape of an eight pointed star.
