A fragment of a copper alloy post-medieval spur. Only the end of one arm survives. This is straight and terminates in two lobes, each with a circular bevelled hole through its centre. Behind this there are two wider rectangular sections, the outer face of each decorated with a transverse groove, followed by a trapezoidal section of the spur arm and then another rectangular section decorated with a groove. The metal survives in good condition with a green-red patina. It is similar to another example from Suffolk recorded with the PAS (SF-7DBB1E). Suggested date range: 1500-1700 AD. …

A copper-alloy seal matrix of Post-medieval date. The matrix itself is circular in form with an integral, thin and flat fob handle that is trefoil in form. Each of hte lobes of the trefoil have a single circular perforation. The die carries the initials N P with star above and below, all within an inner circle. It measures 27.15mm in height, 15.49mm in diameter, and 4.71g in weight. This seal matrix is of Post-Medieval date, with parallels noted in Read (1995: pp. 151-152). It is of c.17th century AD date.

An incomplete tap handle of Post-Medieval date. The bifurcated terminal survives, but the remainder of the object is now missing due to old breaks. It has the remains of a shaft that has bevelled edges (so is hexagonally faceted) and expands to the terminal itself. The terminal has two arms that curve outwards to rounded ends, both of which are also bevelled or hexagonally faceted. This fragment measures 42.18mm in width, 22.77mm in length, 7.05mm in thickness, and 22.83g in weight. A complete copper-alloy bracelet of two adjoining halves of Post-Medieval date. The bottom half is curvilinear and D-shaped in section. An incomplete cast copper-alloy object, probably the shaft from a pin, a spoon handle, cosmetic implement or similar object of Roman date. It is formed from a flat sheet of copper-alloy that has been rolled to create a tube that tapers towards one end. A seam is visible along one side, which has been reworked in order to hide or disguise the seam. A copper-alloy ramrod holder from a post-medieval musket or similar gun. It consists of a flat transversely corruguted strip bent into a cylindrical tube. The two ends join at a pair of bent-out rectangular flanges which run the full length of the tube; both have a circular central hole for attachment to the underside of the gun. The decoration consists of seven horizontal lines. It measures 26.61mm in height, 9.44mm in diameter, 0.99mm in thickness and weighs 3.20g. An incomplete, worn cast copper-alloy object resembling a pin head but probably a hook terminal. It comprises a head of polyhedral form (a cuboid with the corners cut off) that is rectangular in section with 13 worn and undecorated faces. From the base of the head extends an integral shaft that is cylindrical in form and terminates in old breaks just beneath the head. A copper alloy fastener or toggle of Post-Medieval date. It is 24.21mm in length, 19.09mm in width and 7.5mm thick. It weighs 7.61gm. It consists of a rounded body in the shape of a pointed oval, from the centre at one side of which extends a short, oval shaft which terminates with a pair of flat loops, positioned side by side.
