A complete flint Mesolithic tranchet axe. It is ovoid in shape; long and narrow with a slightly wider blade end. It is roughly triangular in cross-section with a raised central ridge running longitundinally across one face. The other face is much flatter. Both faces have been reshaped using invasive, scaled retouch producing large scars. A large triangular transverse 'tranchet' flake has been removed from one side of the cutting end. It is plano-convex in form and of tranchet type, both faces having all over flake removal and edge retouch. One side has a marked, ridged back and the cutting edge is convex in form with transverse flake removal and some edge retouch. The entire axe measures 142.96mm in length, 54.88mm in width, 27.87mm in thickness and 248.82g in weight. It dates to the Mesolithic period, c.10,000-4,000 BC.

A complete struck flint tranchet axe of Mesolithic date. It is struck from a heavily patinated flint that is a mottled white/yellow/brown in colour. It is plano-convex in form and of tranchet type, both faces having all over flake removal and edge retouch. One side has a marked, ridged back and the cutting edge is convex in form with flake removal and some edge retouch, missing one corner of the cutting edge due to old breaks. The entire axe measures 127.22mm in length, 47.05mm in width, 29.90mm in thickness and 177.40g in weight. It dates to the Mesolithic period, c.8,300-4,500 BC.

A complete tranchet type axehead of Mesolithic date. It has a slightly patinated mottled grey/black flint with a small area of cortex remaining at the butt end. It is pointed oval in section, tapering towards the butt end and with steep flake removal on both faces. The cutting edge is roughly crescentic in form with transverse flake removal. This axe measures 109.67mm in length, 44.70mm in maximum width, 32.83mm in thickness, and weighs 138.43g. It is of Mesolithic date, c.8,300-4,500 BC.
