Description: A complete cast probable silver early medieval or Viking Age ingot, roughly cylindrical in shape with slightly flaring terminals. The ingot appears to have been worked with tiny hammer marks on its surfaces giving it a faceted appearance. Dimensions: 31.62mm in length and 11.71mm in width, 10.68mm in thickness, 19.7g in weight. Discussion: This probable ingot is of a slightly unusual form, they more normally have a sub-rectangular section. Description: An incomplete silver middle Anglo-Saxon pin, missing the pointed tip of its shaft due to old breaks. This pin has a spherical head decorated with a series of curving radiating grooves; it is 'wrythen-headed.' Beneath the head there are two circumferential grooves forming a collar. The shaft is circular in cross-section. Dimensions: The head has a diameter of 5.71mm, shaft is a maximum of 1.97mm in diameter and the total surviving length is 27.44mm. It weighs 1.345g. A silver penny of Eadmund, King of East Anglia, c.855-870 AD. This coin is likely to be a continuation of a previous hoard of silver Eadmund pennies recorded through the Treasure Act as 2004 T115 (SF-077A54, SF-076841, SF-D99E44), 2008 T138 (SF-E1C3B5), 2010 T720 ( SF-AAFFB2) and (SF-C21281). This record is an administrative error duplicate of SF-C21281. This will be resolved shortly.

A copper-alloy middle Anglo-Saxon pin. The head is polyhedral, a cuboid with the corners cut off. It is decorated with ring and dot motifs and the upper face has an incised cross. The shaft is bent and may be incomplete; it has a circular cross-section. The head measures 8.38mm in width and 5.59mm in thickness, the shaft is 1.73mm in width and the pin is 31.35mm in total length. Compare NARC-772F63, which also has a saltire engraved on the top.

A silver gilt fragment of a footplate of a square headed brooch. The fragment is incomplete at its top and bottom edges, where the rest of the footplate would have continued originally, due to old breaks, which are now worn. The fragment is roughly lozenge shaped and the front face decorated with an intricate chip carved design consisting of a central lozenge, two opposing terminals of which are complete and rounded in shape. a late Early Medieval Ringerike-style animal head stirrup terminal. The head is circular with a crest, and consists mostly of an openwork circular 'eye' 9.45mm in diameter, with a marked brow and nose. Grooves on either side help to emphasise the nose. An openwork circular gold pendant. It is made from four concentric rings of beaded wire, 0.5mm thick, joined to form a 3mm wide band. A suspension loop of sheet gold has one end attached between the outer two rings, folded over to form a 3mm high loop and is joined to the other face at the same point but less securely. Silver pin, formed from a 1.7mm diameter wire which tapers to a broken point at one end. The head is coiled twice and then flattened at the front to form a 3.2mm wide strip, which survives as 8mm long but might originally have been longer - it is not clear whether this is an abraded break or a true end, though the taper in profile suggests this is the original form.
