An incomplete cast copper-alloy Middle Anglo-Saxon Ansate brooch of Weetch's type XII.Aiii; 'Ansate brooches with tri-lobed leaf shaped terminals', the so-called 'Pommeroeul type' (Thorle's group XII A2), dating c. 800-950 AD. In plan the body of the brooch is rectangular in form, with four leaf-shaped motifs on each side of the bow and terminals to give a symmetrical scheme of decoration. An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) disc brooch, dating to c. AD 450-550. The brooch has a front decorated with a central circular perforation, at least two blind-drilled dots (at 2 o'clock and 6 o'clock) and a pair of closely-spaced fine concentric grooves encircling them, about halfway between the centre and the edge. The reverse of the brooch still has a semi-circular pin lug surviving, set at right angles to the edge of the brooch and with a central circular hole now blocked with iron corrosion. The head comprises a central rectangular plate with three sides extended in three flat semi-circular knops; one of the knops is heavily damaged. The fourth side extends in the arched bow, which has a D-shaped cross section and tapers towards the break. The bow is thicker in the middle. A mostly complete cast copper-alloy small-long brooch of probable Anglo-Saxon attribution dating to the Early Medieval period, c. 450-480 AD. Only the main shaft of the pin is missing, with the rest of the object preserved intact. An incomplete Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy disc brooch, flat and originally circular. The front has a punched ring-and-dot motif at the centre, now very worn, surrounded by four similar motifs; a fifth might have been in the missing fragment. The reverse has a single pin lug with iron corrosion. The brooch has less than a quarter missing. Diameter: 33.58 mm. Thickness: 2.20 mm. Weight: 6.02 g. See similar examples in MacGregor and Bolick 1993, 63-65, in particular no. 4.43. It dates to the late 5th or earrly 6th century.

A fragment of a copper alloy early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) small-long brooch. Only the foot of the brooch survives. This is simple in form with a rectangular section expanding to a triangular terminal. There is a raised tranverse band with a transverse groove across its centre separating these two areas. The triangular terminal is narrow with inward-curving sides and an outward-curving outer end. Its outer face is decorated with a line of punched circular dots outlining the edges. An incomplete and small copper-alloy disc brooch of Early-Medieval date, Weetch type 18. It is missing its pin due to old breaks. The plate is circular and flat with champleve enamelled decoration on the front face. This comprises four evenly spaced semi-circular fields producing a cross-shaped motif at the centre of the plate.
