A complete copper alloy early Iron Age three-part La Tene 1Ba brooch. The head has a four coiled spring (one spring is actually the separate head of the pin) with an external chord. The coils are slightly smaller than would be typical on a La Tene 1A brooch, but still larger in size than those typically seen on 1C and 2A brooches. A separate thick copper alloy chord passes through the head, securing a separate copper alloy pin, which is simply coiled around it at one end.
