A fragment originating from a large socketed and basal looped spearhead of later Middle Bronze Age date (c. 1400-1150 BC) belonging to Davis' group 8; 'elongated spearheads with incorporated basal loops' forms. This object can probably be assigned to the Taunton or Penard metalworking phases. Only the upper section of the spearhead survives, consisting the upper blade and point, probably representing less than a third of the original object. An incomplete copper-alloy spiral ring probably of Bronze Age period, dating to c. 1500.1150 BC. It is circular in plan and it is formed by three coils of an oval cross-sectioned metal wire; both ends are broken and worn. The surface is very abraded and heavily pitted. A copper-alloy Late Bronze Age to Early Iron Age socketed axehead fragment of the Sompting Type, Kingston variant, dating to c. 800-600 BC. It consists of the blade and part of the body of the axe. It has a trapezoidal shape in plan and a rectangular cross-section visible through the break. A complete cast copper-alloy socketed chisel of Late Bronze Age date and probable Ewart Park metalworking phase attribution c. 900-750 BC. In form it is very similar in appearance to socketed axes, though the small size of this object heavily infers that function as a chisel is far more likely. A complete copper alloy awl, probably of late Bronze Age date. The shaft is sub-rectangular in section and tapers towards either end. One end is pointed, whilst the other is chisel shaped. It survives in poor condition with a corroded surface. It is difficult to date Bronze Age awls precisely. Ben Roberts (pers. comm.) suggests that they are likely to date to later in the period. A complete but distorted solid gold penannular ring dating to the Middle Bronze Age, c. 1550-1150 BC. It is broadly oval in plan view and plano-convex in section, being formed of three 'D' sectioned bands which have been soldered together, though in places these are starting to come away from one another.
