Lead alloy pilgrim-badge. It depicts a robed figure, seated, holding a lamb - the Lamb of God. The figure may be on a boat although this is not certain, and is likely to represent St John the Baptist. On the back is a single loop for attachment to a garment. This badge is one of only a few of this type recorded to date, including BERK-29EB55 and YORYM-DB0F36, and an example from Fetter Lane, London (Ward Perkins 1967 [1940], 264, no. 36.146/2) Dimensions: It is 24mm wide and 22mm high, it weighs 2.9g Thanks to Rob Webley for identification

A gold, uninscribed, Iron Age quarter stater, probably of Gallo-Belgic D / ‘Boat Tree’ type, dating to the period c.80-60 BC. Obverse: Boat with two occupants? Reverse: Tree-like motif above forked line, Y-shaped motif below. cf. Sills 2017: p. 15, nos. 24-26; ABC p. 29, no. 40. This is probably a Gallo-Belgic rather than insular British type.  Dimensions: 12.5mm diamter and 1.0mm thick, it weighs 1.43g

Part of a lead alloy ingot. It is slightly wider at the base than the top, and narrow along its length. There are no distinguishing marks, and has an even brown patina. There is no indication that it was used by suspension, although half of it is missing.The shape would suggest a relatively modern origin. A one piece, copper alloy thimble. It is conical, and has no rims, therefore is quite flimsy. The sides plain in the lower half, but the top half is are decorated with a series of dots, in consecutive lines. The top is undecorated. It is slightly corroded with a green patina, and has been crushed. It dates to 1750-1900, and was probably manufactured following the style of those produced in Birmingham, but its flimsy nature wold suggest a later date. Dimensions: 22mm diameter at the base and 18mm high

A lead alloy spindle whorl, conical in shape with a flat base, Walton Rogers form A1. The base is 26mm diameter, tapering to 14mm diameter at the top. The central hole is 5mm diameter, and slightly off centre. It is decorated with radial lines forming triangular shapes but these are worn in many areas. It has an even light brown patina. The small diameter of the central hole would suggest an early date, perhaps 9th-11th centuries AD Dimensions: 26mm diameter and 14mm high, it weighs 50.40g

Medieval copper-alloy lozengiform horse-harness pendant. There is no loop at the top; one corner is broken off, and it is likely that it was originally hinged at the side, with the loop now missing. The design is identical on both faces; the field (background) has extensive traces of gilding, and the charge appears to be a rampant unicorn in white enamel shown in profile facing left. Cast cu-alloy pendant tht was part of a sword belt fitting (for a complete one please see SOM-EF4646) dating from the early post-medieval period, i.e. the late 16th century. The pendant was part of a set of three all of which were attached to a bigger sword belt mount (a fragment of this bigger mount - the small loop - is still attached to the top bit of this hanger). All four element were decorated with a vine leaf foliage design and there is evidence of iron rivets in this remaining pendant.
