Two small copper alloy fragments of metal working debris, probably casting waste of uncertain date. They have a combined total weight of 13.34g. 1) Approximately oval in shape and with a flat base. This fargment measures 21.71mm in length, 15.02mm in width, 5.56mm in thickness, and weighs 5.92g. 2) A globular fragment that measures 20.62mm in length, 19.89mm in width, 11.03mm in thickness, and weighs 7.42g.

They all have flat bases,a conical shape and a central perforation: a) base roughly circular, diameter 17.45mm with circular perforation c. 7.85mm in diameter, length 26.74mm, weight 30.87g. b) circular base 12.12mm in diameter, circular central perforation 4.45mm in diameter, length 14.67mm, weight 11.07g. c) tapering shape from base, roughly circular and 20.67mm diameter, to 5.65mm at the top, central perforation 3.75mm in diameter, length 13.15mm, weight 21.63g.

A cast lead weight of uncertain date. It is a trapezium in shape, 35.15mm in length, and tapers in width from 21.75mm at one shorter side to 26.15mm at the other. There is a metal loop (not iron, and probably copper alloy) set into the shortest side. The weight is 12.04mm thick and weighs 101.43g. The existence of the loop suggests that this is probably a steelyard weight.

A small, worn and possibly cut object, perhaps a coin, of uncertain date. The metal is silver/grey in colour, although the wear and some encrustation make it difficult to ascertain precisely what the metal is and it could well be a more recent alloy. The original object has worn or been clipped/cut to leave a small flan that is approximately circular in shape. One face has traces of decoration that comprises part of a legend reading []VM[] with a line below. A gold finger ring of uncertain date. It has a plain circular band that is sub-circular in section with a flat inner edge. The inner edge has several indentations and pock marks, presumably caused during production, but apparently no maker's marks or hallmarks. The ring measures 17.36mm in internal diameter, 22.84mm in external diameter, and weighs 8.58g. This plain gold ring is a beach find from close to a known Roman site.
