Small piece of Samian ware, possibly coming from a vessel of form Dragendorff 37 which is was a hemispherical bowl - a very common form from c. AD75 onwards. While the inside is smooth and undecorated, some of the typical upper border of the decoration remains on the outside.

Cast cu-alloy disc brooch dating from the early Roman period, i.e. ca. 2nd century. The brooch is incomplete with its pin, spring and central gemstone/glass stone missing. Only the main body remains with the pin rest on the reverse. The obverse was decorated with moulded concentric grooves and and dots in profile. There probably was a central gem- or glass stone but that is now missing.
