Robertson 2000, 1 no. 1: ""The second discovery was made in April 1960. It was reported to me [i.e. Lady Grace Briscoe] that pottery sherds and worked flints had been picked up, after deeper ploughing, in Joist Fen, a mile to the west of the village [i.e. Lakenheath], on a string of small sand islands surrounded by black peat. A few days later a workman picked up three coins, two Icenian and one Republican.
