An incomplete copper-alloy strap end of Medieval date. All that remains ins the cast front plate, which terminates in an old break. It has a lozenge shaped knop, and has a circular hole for a now missing rivet. Similar examples can be seen in Egan and Pritchard, 1991, pg 133, 614.

An incomplete copper-alloy strap end of Medieval date. It is a composite strap-end with a sheet spacer occupying the whole width, broadly rectangular in shape tapering in to terminate with a fleur de lis knop. One part of the plate is missing, the other is broken at the knop. The remaining plate has a hole for a now missing rivet a tthe terminal. Similar examples can be seen in Egan and Pritchard, 1991, pg 147, 703.

A complete copper-alloy strap end of Medieval date. It is a two piece rectangular strap-end made of sheet metal, with tapering sides terminating in a semi-circular knop.The sheet contains two integral rivets. Similar examples can be seen in Egan and Pritchard, 1991, pg 133, fig 86.

An incomplete copper-alloy medieval vessel lug. The zoomorphic terminal has with two wide slanting grooves for ears, two vertical grooves for eyes, a V-shaped groove on either side for the open mouth, and a moulded groove running around the top to form an up-turned nose. A hole runs right through along the long axis from the back of the head to the open mouth, and this contains part of a rectilinear handle.
