Two complete coiled lead net sinkers or weights of uncertain date. Both consist of long rectangular sheets of lead rolled into a tube, one smaller than the other.
A considerable number of these objects have been found during excavations of sites of multiple periods and also are recorded on the PAS database (e.g. LEIC-F9408C, LIN-356838,NLM-22BA33). Dates ranging from the Iron Age to 15th century have been cited, although early medieval dates are often preferred.
