Workflow stage: Awaiting validation
A copper-alloy incomplete possible Roman cosmetic implement identified from a photograph of its front face. It has a flattened circular knob terminal a cylindrical ribbed neck and then a leaf-shaped shaft, the terminal end of which is missing. On the shaft there are incised decorative lines and traces of a possible white metal coating. It appears to measure c40mm in length. This object could be a nail cleaner but as its terminal end is missing it is difficult to know for sure.
