A fragment from the rim of a cast copper-alloy vessel, possibly a candlestick, of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. The surviving fragment suggests it was originally circular in form with a flaring rim that has a Y-shaped profile or cross-section. On the outer face there is a single transverse groove where the branches of the Y separate. This fragment measures 11.32mm in length, 68.87mm in width, 5.59mm in thickness, and 15.71g in weight. This is probably a fragment from the rim of a candlestick (as SF-8707A1, SF-DF9050 or SF-DFB661), c.15th-18th centuries AD.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy candlestick of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. The socket is cylindrical in form with slightly flared rim, decorated on its exterior with three evenly spaced bands of double parallel ribs. At its base the socket tapers to a narrow neck that flares to collar with single transverse groove. On the underside of the collar is a short, integral cylindrical shaft or rivet.
