Description: A complete Post Medieval gold finger ring dating to circa AD 1550-1650. It is a posey or ‘posie’ ring containing incised decoration on the outer face and an inscription on the inner. It is circular in plan and plano-convex in section. The outer face is decorated with a repetitive incised design of two obliquely incised grooves between which are three circular pellets arranged in an oblique line. A complete Middle Bronze Age gold tripartite penannular ring dating to circa 1300-1150 BC. It is C-shaped in plan comprised of three circular-sectioned penannular rings soldered together. The terminals are of an inconsistent width, creating an oblique aperture. Diameter: 14.2mm; Width: 6.4mm; Thickness: 1.3mm; Weight: 3.38g.
