An imported gold Iron age stater of the Catuvellauni/North Thames region struck for Addedomaros, dating from 50 BC to 10 AD ( Addedomaros Spiral). The obverse depicts a six armed wreathed spiral with three crescents at the centre. The reverse depicts a horse right, cornucopiae below. As ABC (Rudd, 2010, p.126, no. 2517). Diameter 17.66mm, thickness 2.91mm. Weight 5.5g.

Description: An incomplete gold Medieval quatrefoil frame brooch, dating to AD 1300-1450. It is half of the original quatrefoil frame, which has a sub-rectangular cross section and a double stepped outer edge. On one end there is the broken constriction for the missing pin. The front face is decorated with four cast raised inward facing human heads; the heads are even-spaced and are placed on the inner cusps and on the most outer part of the curved frame. The 'Near Blythburgh' hoard. Description: On the 10th of February 2019, Mr [NAME REDACTED] was detecting on cultivated land, recovering a relatively small-sized scattered Iron Age coin hoard from around a 10-15m square in the topsoil.
