Object type: BRACTEATE
Broad period: EARLY MEDIEVAL
County: Suffolk
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
Description: A complete gold early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) imitation bracteate. It is formed from a disc of sheet metal with a separate short strip of gold, 4.06mm wide and 0.64mm thick, soldered into a suspension loop at one side.
