Description: A complete gold sheet metal biconical bead with gold wire filigree decoration of early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) date. The two sections of the bead are each made from sheet metal rolled into truncated cones leaving a hole in the centre of their apex. One of these holes is encircled by applied beaded wire, but this is missing on the other. Rudd (2010, 87) writes 'the three crescent moons may symbolise a regal triumvirate of Antedios, Ecen and another ruler whose name is unknown to us. The six stylised neck torcs may signify not only royalty, but also religious leadership. Icenian kings may also have been chief priests of the tribe'.

An incomplete gold finger ring (Henig II/ Guiraud type 2A) of Roman date (c. 43-200).
Description: The ring is broken at the narrowest part of the hoop, opposite the bezel, and is misshapen. The hoop is pointed oval in cross section, thickening and widening gradually towards the shoulders which merge to create the bezel. The bezel has an oval recess for a now missing setting. The surface of the ring is textured by rippling in the gold as well as scuffing and scratching.
