A complete probable Post Medieval gold ferrule dating to circa AD 1550-1700. The ring is circular in plan and plano-convex in section. The front face is decorated with equidistantly spaced centrally located punched dots. On the outer edges a pair of opposed quatrefoils are punched, a design that is repeated six times. Between the quatrefoils on the outer edge are six incised rectangular panels containing a series of longitudinal incised grooves running down the length of the rectangular panels. A complete probably Bronze Age unidentified object dating to circa 2300-800 BC. Made from a strip of gold, It is broadly triangular in plan flaring outwards from the apex to the terminal. Both the top and bottom edges are straight. There is a circa 1mm in diameter perforation just below the apex. Length: 16.1mm; Width: 7.2mm; Thickness: 0.2mm; Weight: 0.26g. Discussion: Similar strips of gold with perforations are known from southern England associated with the Bronze Age. A complete Early Medieval gold pin dating to circa AD 550-900. The head is flat and sub-oval, broadly heart-shaped, with two lobes projecting from the top. The head gives way to the cylindrical shank, which tapers gently into a point. Both faces of the pin head are decorated with the same incised design. Medieval gold finger ring with pryamidal jewel or glass inset. This ring has a large pryamid-shaped head around the inset glass/jewel, which is bordered on either side of the band by incised slightly-curved arches. The band is a single band with a deep groove that makes it look like two thinner bands of gold running side-by-side. The jewel is small and dark in colour, although its is not easy to identify.
