Description: an incomplete and somewhat damaged gold finger ring dating to the Post-Medieval period, c. 1600-1700. The hoop is 'D' shaped in section and rather worn at its base, distorted on one side due to old damage. Description: An irregular sub-rectangular fragment of 'hack' gold, cut on its upper and lower edges, curving slightly in plan and demonstrating some faceting to its upper face. Date: c. 1500 BC-1800 AD Dimensions: The fragment measures 10.82mm down its longest axis, 8.61mm wide by 1.27mm thick at its midpoint, and weighs 1.05g.
